Here is a recommendation for a cool food spot that sells Korean food in HBC.
To get there we walked from Noksapyeong Station out of exit 2. We then took the bus
'Yongsan 02' and got off at Haebangchon Ogeori. From there, you need to walk for two minutes.
Below, you can see the walk from the station to the bus stop.
The restaurant is located in an area that is cut off from any cars. It feels like another world.
The restaurant is located at the end of the building block that runs through the middle of this hidden street.
The vibe of this area was quiet, calm and peaceful.
Unlike the main streets of HBC and Itaewon.
However, we did go during the week, so it may be more lively during the weekend.
Whilst friends of mine are waiting,
I took a picture of them haha
Tables are readily available
for 2 or groups of four.
I liked how the menu had options
for groups and individuals.
If you feel like sharing
with your friends the sets
(for 2,3,4) might be a good choice.
We decided to order separately.
The choices, as seen below are:
mushroom, shrimp, beef, or abalone.
Here are a few shots of our meals before
If you eat all your rice and there are some nice crispy pieces stuck to the bowl,
ask for the hot water and add some to the bowl.
This is not for everyone, some people do not like the texture when the water is added,
but you could give it a try.
My friends all enjoyed their meals, but I never like to leave a grain of rice behind ㅋㅋㅋ
So, I helped finish off every last piece ㅋㅋㅋ
All smiles here!
